Spriitzz and Confidence Man Deliver Euphoric New Single “Higher”
Spriitzz and Confidence Man have joined forces for their new single “Higher,” released via HARD Recs. The collaboration blends euphoric trance production with playful synthpop vocals.
Irish producer Spriitzz joins forces with Australian synthpop group Confidence Man for their new single “Higher,” out now on HARD Recs. The euphoric trance record blends Spriitzz’s dreamy sound driven by Confidence Man’s playful synthpop vocals.

Born in Sligo, Ireland, and now based in Glasgow after ten years in Berlin, Tiarnan McMorrow is a DJ, producer, and mixing engineer known as both Spray and Spriitzz. While Spray mixes trance and classic progressive sounds with breaks, hard house, and psychedelic rave, Spriitzz leans into dreamy, Ibiza-inspired music made for sunsets.
The collaboration between Spriitzz and Confidence Man brings together the producer’s dreamy electronic sound and the Australian group’s distinctive vocal style.
Formed in Brisbane and now based in the UK, Confidence Man has become one of the most talked-about live acts on the festival circuit. Known for dramatic outfit changes and campy choreography, their shows pair retro synthpop, house, disco, and indie electronic music with a full visual spectacle.
“Higher” is a euphoric trance track that pairs Spriitzz’s bright, feel-good production with Confidence Man’s signature synthpop vocals. Confidence Man singers Janet Planet and Sugar Bones trade carefree vocals over dramatic strings, hazy synths, sparkling electronic tones, and warm piano chords.

Spriitzz has remixed tracks for Luuk van Dijk, Qrion, and Regularfantasy, and reworked Confidence Man’s “Chez Moi” and “Who Knows What You’ll Find?” in the past year, earning radio play from Triple J, NPO, Radio Bondi, and Blast 106. In October, he teamed up with DJ HEARTSTRING on “Sentimental Ultra,” the title track from their debut album, which earned radio support from Arielle Free, Danny Howard, Charlie Tee, Charlie Hedges, and TCTS, plus mixshow plays from John Summit and Tiësto.
Confidence Man was named Best Live Act at the Rolling Stone UK Awards in 2024, won the “Best Independent Dance / Electronica Album” AIR Award 2019, and received numerous ARIA ‘Best Dance / Electronic Release’ nominations. They are supporting Sammy Virji at Red Rocks, and have their headline “Active Scenes” club night showcase at The Cause London, following recent high-profile performances at HARD Summer, EDC Las Vegas, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball, and Hï Ibiza.
Speaking about the creative process behind “Higher,” Spriitzz and Confidence Man shared their perspectives on working together.
“I’ve been a fan of Confidence Man for a long time, they scratch an itch for me that I cant find anywhere else. ‘Higher’ was the first idea we started when we got in the studio. Their hype energy dovetails perfectly with some balearic hi-energy house – we had such a buzz in the studio and ‘Higher’ has been such a big moment in my live sets.” – Spriitzz
“We couldn’t wait to work with Spriitzz and when he opened up his laptop we knew we’d struck gold. It was like an ice cold drink and a hot cigarette coming together in a sweaty club. We knew what we had to do so we made you this instant classic.” – Confidence Man

“Higher” marks another collaboration between Spriitzz and Confidence Man, following Spriitzz’s previous remixes of the group’s music. The single is available now via HARD Recs.
The release builds on Spriitzz’s existing connection with Confidence Man, having previously remixed the group’s tracks “Chez Moi” and “Who Knows What You’ll Find?” before collaborating on original material.
