SLANDER, Excision and Blanke have joined forces for their new single, “Give You Love,” released through SLANDER’s Heaven Sent label. The collaboration brings together three established names in bass music, combining emotional vocals, atmospheric melodies and powerful dubstep production.
Nearly three years in the making, the track marks a long-awaited reunion between SLANDER and Excision, with Blanke joining them on the collaboration.

SLANDER, Excision and Blanke Deliver “Give You Love”
SLANDER previously explored similar emotional themes and melodic dubstep production on their collaboration with Dylan Matthew, “Love Is Gone.”
At its core, “Give You Love” explores the emotional aftermath of a breakup, centered on a final attempt to save a relationship. The song’s vocals convey vulnerability and desperation, moving between softer passages and powerful moments as the production builds.
Atmospheric textures and arpeggiated melodies gradually develop into melodic bass sequences before giving way to a heavy dubstep drop driven by distorted synthesizers and rumbling low frequencies.
The production brings together the melodic and heavier elements associated with the three artists, creating a track that moves between emotional songwriting and bass-driven intensity.
Early versions of “Give You Love” had already appeared in SLANDER and Excision’s live performances for more than a year and a half, giving audiences an opportunity to hear the collaboration before its official release.
A Long-Awaited Reunion Between SLANDER and Excision
The single represents another chapter in the musical relationship between SLANDER and Excision.
According to Excision, “Give You Love” is their first release together in more than five years. It also marks his first collaboration with Blanke, despite their paths having crossed throughout the bass music scene.
Their history extends beyond studio collaborations. At Bass Canyon, SLANDER and Excision reunited for a back-to-back performance, their first together in seven years.
The collaboration arrives during an active period for both acts. SLANDER recently released their StarDisc project, featuring “Lead the Way,” “Booster Ignition,” “Under My Skin” and “Do You Feel Loved.”
Excision, meanwhile, recently completed the ninth edition of Lost Lands and the eighth edition of Bass Canyon, continuing his involvement in two major bass music festivals.
Blanke Brings His Musical Background to the Collaboration
Australian producer Blanke, who operates out of Denver, has built a catalog spanning dubstep, drum & bass and melodic bass.
His connection with SLANDER predates “Give You Love.” He previously remixed the duo’s single “Potions,” establishing an earlier musical connection between the artists.
Blanke has also been touring alongside Virtual Riot on their co-headlining Far From Home tour, with performances scheduled across several North American venues.
For Blanke, collaborating with SLANDER and Excision carries personal significance. In his statement accompanying the release, he described both acts as major influences and revealed that he and SLANDER had been exploring multiple collaboration ideas over the past several years.
SLANDER, Excision and Blanke Reflect on “Give You Love”
The three artists shared their perspectives on the creative process behind the single, highlighting the challenges and rewards of combining their individual sounds.
SLANDER explained that working with Excision and Blanke required finding a balance between their musical styles. The duo also acknowledged that three-way collaborations can introduce additional creative challenges while encouraging everyone involved to deliver their best work.
Excision reflected on reconnecting with SLANDER after more than five years without a joint release. He also emphasized the significance of finally working with Blanke after years of crossing paths within the bass music community.
Blanke expressed his excitement about collaborating with two artists who have influenced his career, describing the experience as an enjoyable creative process.
Together, their statements offer insight into a collaboration that developed over several years before reaching its final form.
SLANDER:

“It was such a great experience working with Excision and Blanke to find that perfect mesh of all of our sounds. We have only done a few triple collaborations in the past, and based on our experience we feel they push everyone involved to give their absolute best. There are usually a couple more creative speed bumps to get to the finish line, but the end result always shines so bright. We hope everyone enjoys the hard work all of us put into this record. We love it and we are grateful for the chance to work with our talented friends on something this special.”
Excision:

“It was awesome getting to work on this track with SLANDER and Blanke. We each brought something different to the table, and I think our styles really came together to create something unique. It’s been over five years since my last release with SLANDER, so this track marks both a long-overdue reunion and my first collaboration with Blanke after years of crossing paths in the bass music scene.”
Blanke:

“Can’t express how awesome it is to be collaborating with two huge huge influences and giants in the scene. Slander and I have been working on multiple collab ideas for a few years now and we’re so happy to be presenting Give You Love alongside Excision. This was so much fun to create and we hope you love it.”
