TeeDee “Bad Love” is officially out now via Insomniac Records, marking the British DJ and producer’s second release on the label. The new single combines minimal tech house production with R&B-influenced vocals, a fast-moving bassline, and a darker atmosphere. The release follows a summer of live performances in which the track became a regular feature of TeeDee’s DJ sets.
TeeDee has built his musical identity around influences from the northern bassline movement of the 2000s. His productions bring together recognizable vocal hooks, underground club influences, and elements of modern house music. TeeDee “Bad Love” continues that approach while placing greater emphasis on minimal production and a bass-driven arrangement.

TeeDee “Bad Love” Combines Minimal Tech House and R&B Influences
TeeDee “Bad Love” centers on lyrics describing a dysfunctional relationship and the realization that a partner is no longer worth the emotional trouble.
The record pairs those themes with soulful vocals and an instrumental built around a rapid bassline, crisp drums, and darker musical textures. Rather than relying on an elaborate arrangement, the production emphasizes rhythm, low-end movement, and the relationship between the vocals and percussion.
Those elements reflect the direction TeeDee has pursued in his recent productions, drawing from his background in British bassline music while working within contemporary house and minimal club sounds.
The contrast between the vocal subject matter and the energetic instrumental is an important part of the release. The lyrics introduce relationship tension, while the production maintains the rhythmic focus associated with the artist’s DJ sets.
Early Support From Riordan and East End Dubz
“Bad Love” had already received attention in live settings before its official release.
Insomniac’s announcement identifies Riordan and East End Dubz among the artists who supported the track ahead of its October 23 launch. TeeDee also tested the single during his own performances throughout the summer.
In comments accompanying the release, the producer explained that he felt confident about the record’s effectiveness in his sets from the time he finished making it. He also expressed appreciation for the support it received from fellow DJs and for the opportunity to release it through Insomniac Records.
The single arrives following that period of live testing, making the official release available to listeners beyond the performances where it was first introduced.
TeeDee Returns to Insomniac Records After “I Just Need You”
The new single follows TeeDee’s Insomniac Records debut, “I Just Need You,” which was released on July 17, 2026.
According to the label, that earlier track received mixshow support from BIJOU, ACRAZE, Tough Love, Tomo Hirata, and Tim Hox.
The two releases establish TeeDee’s growing relationship with Insomniac Records during 2026. Both are connected to his house music output, with “Bad Love” placing particular emphasis on minimal tech house and vocal-driven production.
TeeDee’s broader catalog has also attracted attention from artists including Max Dean, Joseph Capriati, Prospa, Alisha, SOSA, Omar+, and Cloonee, according to the accompanying press materials.
From Sheffield to International Club Stages
Beyond his studio releases, TeeDee has developed a live following through headline performances and his Hyperactive World events.
Insomniac reports that the artist has sold out 34 headline shows, including events associated with his Hyperactive World brand. Venues and locations connected to those performances include Ministry of Sound in London, WAV in Liverpool, and clubs in Manchester and Bristol.
His October 23 press announcement also outlines additional appearances connected to The Warehouse Project, Hyperactive World at NX Newcastle, and a North American tour.
The North American venues listed include Floyd Miami, SILO NYC, Halcyon, Spybar, Bijou, Coda, Culture, and Sound Nightclub. Individual performance dates were not included in the release.
This touring activity provides another setting for the artist’s catalog, with his productions reaching audiences through both official releases and DJ performances.
