It’s the second week in a row of new Brasstracks music and well, life is good.
After releasing a stirring cover of Lil Uzi Vert‘s “XO TOUR Llif3” last week, the brassy duo has released an original called “Fever.”
With a jazzy beat and bright horn stabs from the duo’s trumpet player, Ivan Jackson, “Fever” is a standout in the group’s catalog. Parts of the track are light and breezy, reminiscent of what you’d hear in a swanky jazz lounge. Other sections of the track are funk-heavy, punctuated by an enticing trumpet melody.
This duo is on fire lately, releasing masterful production after masterful production. Thusly, the future is looking bright for these Grammy-winning musicians.
