Growing up in Não-Me-Toque, a small town in rural Brazil, WELKER was immersed in Latin rhythms before moving to California to focus on music full-time. His keen ear for raw percussion allows him to merge indie dance, tech house, and organic sounds into a cohesive identity.

Starting with Batucada, WELKER demonstrates his strong affinity for Brazilian rhythms through unique Latin drum elements. The track possesses a nearly tribal quality, further enriched by jungle samples, making it ideal for the vibrant jungles of Tulum at the next Experts Only festival. Featuring Spanish lyrics, I really appreciate the Latin vibe here. While I don’t understand the words, her entrancing vocals and deep basslines compel me to move, which is all that truly matters in the universal language of music.
Shifting focus to the title track ” Dancing Around, “ this song gradually unfolds. It starts with house vocals and a mesmerizing beat, gaining momentum around the one-minute mark.
