A rising force in the dubstep scene, TrebleTina, is set to make an impact with her debut upcoming two-track release on Circus Records. The Beholder and Til I’m Dead, featuring MOLLYWATER drop on March 4th. The project showcases TrebleTina’s approach to bass music, combining raw energy with personal themes.
“The inspiration behind The Beholder began when I was 16 and I discovered a vintage shirt with the words: ‘Beauty lies in the ears of the beholder.’ As a black woman who often faced criticism for my diverse music tastes, the message resonated deeply and became a guiding philosophy throughout my creative journey. The quote has been in my social media bios since the inception of my project. It captures the complexity of what music means to me and is a constant reminder to embrace my individuality. I always knew I wanted to channel that energy into music that authentically represents who I am.”
Paired with Til I’m Dead, an electrifying collaboration with MOLLYWATER, the release further cements TrebleTina’s commitment to pushing boundaries and uniqueness.
“The two tracks, The Beholder and Til I’m Dead, embody a powerful message to those who don’t conform to societal expectations. Music is subjective, and these songs are a reminder to ignore criticism, embrace your uniqueness, and remain true to yourself. Diversity is beautiful, and everyone’s journey deserves to be celebrated. Through these tracks, I seek to inspire and empower listeners to become the beholders of their own definitions of beauty and artistry, reclaiming ownership of their creative identity.”
