Are you a Crazy Girl? Callie Reiff releases a vibey new teen angst-inspired house track ” Crazy Girl.” A manifesto of her youth, this uplifting funky house banger is poised to take dance floors by storm this coming spring. Drawing inspiration from the wild nights and craziness of young adulthood, Callie Reiff delivers a powerful punch of groovy melodies and deep, bouncing basslines with ” Crazy Girl ” available now on Dim Mak records.
NY-born and raised, Callie Reiff became the youngest DJ to perform at Webster Hall at the age of 15. Like every rebellious teen growing up, there were plenty of long nights, spilled drinks, wild parties, white lies, and partaking in many activities that parents would frown upon. Crazy Girl was inspired by just that… “ sneaking into the club, X’s on ur hands, losing your voice, no ear plugs, spilling a drink on the DJ, bad sound systems, and remembering it all as the best night of your life “ Reiff explains in her manifesto.

Lets get down to brass tracks
At just 25 years old and with over a decade of experience in the industry, Callie Reiff drops this nostalgic track of the past and present. The distorted scratchy vocals layered over the synths in the beginning of the record remind me of an early 2000s indie track from my youth. When the bass kicks in around the thirty-second mark, the track really begins to take off, bouncing you along in groovy house style. The wavy synths and playful melodies carry the listener upstream with smooth precision.
Next, I really love the low pass filter effect on her voice around the halfway point in the track. Slowly fading out and preparing the listener for the last portion of the song, the bass begins to boom, and the dance floor starts to bounce. Bobbing your head, this track is surely going to set the house world on fire. This amazing single should be indulged poolside, with a nice glass of wine or a drink with a little yellow umbrella sticking out of it. So, all my poolside patrons, keep your ears peeled for this groovalicious house banger!
