Above and Beyond introduces Anjunachill 01, their first downtempo mix compilation. This compilation highlights Anjuna’s top chill-out ambient tracks, including timeless classics and exclusive unreleased music. With a longstanding legacy in the chill-out genre, the Anjuna family is thrilled to launch this new series. Additionally, the release includes a limited-edition vinyl sampler featuring six tracks, along with a mix that runs for an hour and forty-one minutes, available on all major streaming platforms.

“ We’re excited to share ‘Anjunachill 01’ with you today. Following in the footsteps of our flagship Anjunabeats Volume and Anjunadeep series, Anjunachill 01 is our new milestone compilation…It’s a celebration of the softer, more meditative sounds we’ve always loved across the labels and a showcase of the incredible new wave of talent on Anjunachill. We hope you enjoy.” – Above & Beyond
A softer side of things
After mixing the first installment of the Anjunadeep compilation series along with every Anjunabeats Volume from the past twenty years, Above & Beyond now presents the debut mix of this new series, called ‘Anjunachill 01’. This compilation starts with the group’s latest ambient track, “Sh’all We Begin,” which perfectly sets the tone for the profound journey that Anjunachill represents. With an impressive selection from the chillout vault, 01 includes several previously unreleased gems from the genre.
Two of my personal favorite unreleased tracks are PROFF’S: “Izumo Sunrise” and “Love On A Real Train (Tangerine Dream cover). “ These two seven-minute pieces deliver a powerful punch of cinematic soundscapes and invigorating basslines that offer a breath of fresh air during this almost two-hour journey.
The elegant piano parts and soft, delicate sound design make this compilation perfect for your next at-home yoga session or meditation practice. Perfect background music for that warm cup of coffee and early morning sunrise, this exciting new series in the Anjuna family marks an official chapter in the ambient downtempo arena. So the next time you grab your cappuccino at that quaint little coffee shop on the corner, be sure to keep your ears peeled for Anjunachill 01.
