March 7th, a day that will live in infamy! Dropping their first full-length Album in almost a decade the gallactic GOATS Zeds Dead plan to release an album and kick off their upcoming spring tour on the same day. Return to the spectrum of intergalactic happiness…. But what does it all mean? Let’s see if we can break this intricate manifestation of nostalgia down as best as possible.

Elementary, my dear Watson.

The title vaguely suggests an exploration back to a state of childlike wonder and bliss, imagined on a cosmic scale—an unfathomable journey back to our primal nature, reminiscent of a small child before the harsh realities of the modern world corrupt him or her. Leaving the listener overwhelmed by a wide range of positive emotions and experiences beyond our normal understanding of happiness, like those distant memories of going to Grandma’s to open that Christmas gift when we were four or five years old.

It’s a metaphorical return to a place of pure, universal contentment, if such a thing ever existed. Foreshadowed by the current four singles released for the album, undertones of childhood wonderment leak through each and every track. The pains of a man yearning for a simpler and less complicated life radiate through various samples. Before the internet, before the stress, before the facial hair and the adult responsibilities. The unfiltered love for the world and thy neighbor at the playground is what speaks to me. Joy, love, and simplicity are what they’re after, but only those two men really know for sure.

The boys are back in town

On March 7th of the year two thousand and twenty-five, these two brave men plan to share their message with the world. Their innermost fears and yearnings will be brought to life on wax and in real life as they say. Hitting the road the same day the album comes out, the dynamic duo from Canada plan to bring their message to an ear canal near you. With an open heart and open mind, one can only imagine the pleasure heading our way. With dates constantly being added to the upcoming tour, there is not enough time and days in the calendar to share this intrinsic message with the world.

For someone who’s never experienced a Zeds Dead set in person, it’s worth the trek, believe you me. Some have hinted that this upcoming album is going to change the game, quote unquote. I don’t even comprehend how that’s possible; these two changed the game a long time ago, dear friends. Who knows what cosmic shift is in store for us on March 7th? The anticipation is slowly killing me as the weeks wear on, getting closer and closer to release. Stay tuned and follow us across all socials for the wonderment thats in store soon!
