This passion likely comes from my curiosity and love for exploration. Growing up, I was drawn to stories about the unknown and otherworldly. I channel this into my music by creating immersive soundscapes and narratives that transport listeners to another world.

What’s the most surprising theory you’ve heard about aliens? Do you believe in UFOs? Why or why not?

The theory that aliens built the pyramids always fascinates me—not because I necessarily believe it, but because it reflects human imagination and our desire to connect with something greater than ourselves.

I believe in the possibility of UFOs because the universe is vast and unexplored. It’s exciting to think there might be something or someone out there beyond our understanding.

Where do you think UFOs came from—if anywhere?

Maybe they’re advanced civilizations exploring us the way we explore space, or they could be natural phenomena we haven’t fully explained yet. Either way, the mystery keeps me inspired.

Do you look up to anyone in the EDM scene? What about them is interesting?

Skrillex has always been a big inspiration. His genre-defying music and collaborations have shown me how to be fearless in my creativity. I also deeply admire Noisia for their unparalleled sound design and ability to push the boundaries of bass music.

What influences your music the most?

My life experiences, my travels, and my curiosity about the unknown. Each experience adds a new layer to my music.

How did you grow up?

I grew up in Taiwan and was introduced to music at an early age. Hip-Hop was my first love, but as I evolved, I embraced electronic music. My upbringing gave me a unique cultural perspective that I bring into my music.

Do you think it has had an impact on you and your journey in the music scene?

Definitely. Growing up in Taiwan gave me a strong foundation and an appreciation for diverse sounds. It also made me want to share my culture and story with a global audience.

What inspires you?

Moments of connection, whether through music or life, and the desire to challenge myself to be better with each release or performance.

Bali. I always love being there for writing music. The island’s energy, natural beauty, and vibrant culture create the perfect environment for creativity. Whether it’s the serene beaches, lush forests, or the buzzing atmosphere of local markets, Bali inspires me to tap into new ideas and experiment with my sound. It’s a place where I can truly connect with myself and my music.

How do current events or societal issues influence your music?

Music is a reflection of the world around us, and I try to channel the energy and emotions of current events into my work. Whether it’s themes of resilience, connection, or escapism, my goal is to create tracks that resonate with listeners navigating today’s world.

How does “Lose Control” relate to you and your life? How does it feel to lose control, and what does that mean to you?

“Lose Control” is about embracing chaos and surrendering to the moment. For me, it reflects times when I’ve let go of expectations and just lived fully in the present. Losing control isn’t necessarily negative; it’s about trusting the process and finding freedom in uncertainty.

It’s a mix of liberation and vulnerability. It can be terrifying but also exhilarating because it’s when I grow the most as a person and artist.

What’s your background? What city do you call home?

I’m from Taipei, Taiwan, and it will always be my home. It’s where my musical journey began, and the city’s vibrant energy has shaped who I am as an artist. Recently, I’ve started exploring Los Angeles as my second home—a place filled with opportunities to expand my career and pursue my music goals. Both cities inspire me in unique ways, and I’m excited to see how this new chapter unfolds.

What do you do to decompress? What do you do immediately after a show?

I love spending quiet time with my dog, having a neat whisky, or just zoning out to music. Hiking and practicing breathing techniques also help me reset after intense performances or studio sessions. Being outdoors and connecting with nature is always refreshing.

After a show, I like to take a moment to reflect on the performance, connect with fans, and enjoy some quiet time to unwind. A good meal and some laughs with my team are always a bonus!

Do you have any interesting, unique beliefs? What are they?

I believe music is a universal language that can bridge worlds—both metaphorically and literally. I also love exploring the idea of extraterrestrial life, which inspires my creativity. Additionally, I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason, and that hard work always pays off. It’s about being prepared and ready when opportunities come your way.

Are you superstitious? Why or why not?

I’m not overly superstitious, but I do believe in energy. Whether it’s the vibe in a room, the intention behind actions, or even the presence of ghosts, I think these unseen forces can influence outcomes. Ghost stories have always intrigued me, and I believe there’s more to the world than what we can see.

What’s your favorite song you’ve created, and what was the process of making it? What was the inspiration behind it?

One of my favorites is “Drama Queen.” It’s a bold, emotional track that lets me showcase my vocal abilities and explore my personal experiences. The process was cathartic, blending storytelling with dynamic sound design.

How is your relationship with your loved ones? Who inspires you the most out of the people you love, and why?

I’m close with my family and grateful for their support. My dad inspires me the most—his strength, resilience, and unconditional love keep me grounded and motivated.

I’m also inspired by my friends JVNA, CHYL, and Nostalgix. They’re incredibly talented, hardworking, and passionate about their craft, which constantly motivates me to push boundaries in my own work. Surrounding myself with such driven and creative people fuels my journey.

“Archangel” by Burial. The raw emotion and haunting atmosphere in the track always resonate with me. It’s a masterpiece that perfectly blends vulnerability and innovation, and it never fails to inspire me.

What do you do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with friends, trying out new food spots, and traveling. When I’m home, I unwind with movies or true crime documentaries. They’re fascinating and always keep me intrigued.

How would your friends and family describe you? Do you think it matches who you are at your core?

They’d probably describe me as passionate, driven, creative, and a bit stubborn. I think it matches because I genuinely pour my heart into everything I do, especially my music. The stubbornness comes from my determination to stay true to myself and my vision, even when faced with challenges.

Some people think I’m always outgoing because of my performances, but I actually love my alone time and recharging in quiet spaces.

I’d want to be remembered for pushing boundaries in music and inspiring others to stay true to themselves and their creativity.

What’s your biggest fear?

Letting fear itself hold me back. I strive to face challenges head-on, even when they scare me. Another big fear is being sick and unable to do what I love—creating music, performing, and connecting with my fans. It’s a reminder to take care of myself and appreciate every moment I get to live my passion.

Who do you hope your music reaches? Do you have a specific demographic you make music for?

I want my music to reach anyone who needs an escape or a source of empowerment. While I love seeing my fans at festivals, my music is for anyone seeking connection, no matter where they are.

What’s your favorite performance you’ve ever given?

Tomorrowland was a dream come true. Being the first Taiwanese DJ to perform there was surreal and made me feel like I was representing more than just myself. EDC Orlando, Escape Halloween, and Ultra Taiwan were also unforgettable experiences. Ultra Taiwan felt especially meaningful as I was performing in my home city, connecting with fans who have supported me from the start. Each of these performances had incredible energy, and the connection with the crowd was electric. They all hold a special place in my heart.

What initially drew you to EDM as a genre?

The energy and ability to connect people on the dancefloor. EDM gave me the freedom to experiment with sounds and emotions in ways no other genre could.

Can you tell us about your musical background and how it has shaped your career?

I started with Hip-Hop and later embraced EDM, blending the two worlds to create my own unique sound. Being hybrid in my approach to music has allowed me to explore and experiment with different genres, from Trap to Hard Dance and Dubstep. This versatility has helped me connect with diverse audiences and constantly evolve as an artist, pushing the boundaries of my creativity while staying authentic to my roots.

How do you stay inspired when creating new music?

Traveling, conversations with friends, and exploring new genres keep me inspired. I also draw from personal experiences and emotions.

Do you have any specific rituals or routines when you’re in the studio?

I always start by setting the mood—dim lighting, incense, and a playlist of tracks that inspire me. It helps me tap into the creative flow.

What’s your favorite part about performing live?

Seeing the crowd’s energy and feeling their connection to the music. It’s the most rewarding part of being an artist.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Releasing *Unearthly World* and performing it live for my fans. It felt like a culmination of everything I’ve worked for.

Don’t be afraid to be yourself and take risks. Life is about exploration, both inward and outward.

I love exploring new cities, hiking, watching movies, and spending quality time with my dog. Being outdoors or getting lost in a good film helps me recharge and stay inspired.

Are there any misconceptions about EDM or electronic artists that you’d like to address?

One of the biggest misconceptions about EDM is that it isn’t “real music.” People sometimes think it’s just pushing buttons or playing pre-made tracks, but in reality, it’s an incredibly intricate art form. Producing electronic music involves deep technical knowledge—understanding sound design, arrangement, mixing, and mastering. It also requires creativity and the ability to convey emotions through non-traditional instruments.

As a producer, you’re essentially building a soundscape from scratch, layering every detail to evoke a specific vibe or energy. On top of that, performing live as a DJ isn’t just about playing music; it’s about reading the crowd, creating a journey, and delivering an unforgettable experience.

Electronic music is as real and raw as any other genre—it’s just presented in a different way. The amount of time, effort, and passion that goes into creating a single track or set is immense, and it deserves the same respect as any other form of music.

What’s one thing about yourself that most people don’t know?

I love airplanes! I can name all the commercial aircraft models just by seeing them. It’s a bit of a hidden passion of mine and something that always fascinates me when I’m traveling.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself continuing to push boundaries in music, headlining more festivals, and using my platform to inspire the next generation of artists. I also envision doing my own production shows worldwide, creating immersive experiences that bring my music and vision to life.

Additionally, I aim to establish my own label to support emerging talent and provide a platform for innovative and boundary-pushing artists. It’s all about growing, evolving, and giving back to the music community.

What do you base your music on? How do your life experiences contribute to your art?

My music is deeply personal and reflects my journey—moments of joy, struggle, heartbreak, and growth. Each track tells a story inspired by the highs and lows of life.

Losing loved ones has profoundly shaped my perspective, bringing a depth of emotion to my music that connects with listeners on a raw, human level. Breakups and heartbreaks have also played a significant role in my creative process, as music has always been my way of processing pain and finding closure.

Whether it’s the exhilaration of achieving a goal or the vulnerability of facing loss, I channel all of these emotions into my tracks. Music is my therapy, my outlet, and a way to share my story while connecting with others who might be feeling the same things. What was the catalyst for your love of the otherworldly and extraterrestrial beings? Have you always been fascinated by it? Is this a new fixation, and if so, what’s your favorite fun fact about it?

My fascination with the otherworldly and extraterrestrial beings has been with me for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always drawn to sci-fi movies, stories about space exploration, and the idea that there’s so much more to the universe than what we see. It’s the mystery and limitless possibilities that intrigue me the most—questions like, “What’s out there?” or “Are we really alone?” spark my imagination.

This fascination has naturally found its way into my music. I love creating sounds and atmospheres that feel like they belong to another dimension, allowing listeners to escape reality and explore something unknown.

One of my favorite fun facts about extraterrestrial life is that scientists have discovered exoplanets in the “Goldilocks zone” of other star systems—planets that could potentially support life. It’s mind-blowing to think we might not be the only ones out here, and it keeps me dreaming and creating.

What’s one thing you’ve never done that you want to do before you die?

I’ve always dreamed of flying a plane. My love for airplanes and fascination with aviation make it a bucket-list goal. Being up in the cockpit, controlling something so powerful, and seeing the world from that perspective would be an incredible experience. It’s something I’m determined to make happen one day!!
