With several hints online via social media and the release of some old mixes from the vault, it was only a matter of time before the house legend known as Claude Von Stroke made his triumphant return. Von Stroke drops a bombshell by announcing his “ Life of Leisure “ tour, which kicks off this coming April, along with a coinciding EP. After 20 years in the game, Von Stroke has spent the past few decades amassing one of North America’s most vibrant dance music communities.
After selling his DirtyBird brand and taking a two-year hiatus to focus on himself, he is back and better than ever with a whole new mindset. Following a huge tour last year as Barclay Crenshaw, this year’s Life of Leisure tour offers a completely different feel. Smaller and more intimate, VonStroke is performing only where he wants to for the loyal fans who appreciate the originality of his unique take on house music.

Back to his roots
The upcoming tour isn’t your typical approach from a standard DJ of Claude’s caliber. It’s a complete state of mind, a vibe in itself – a statement of refuge, an underground safe haven from the anxiety and chaos of the modern world.
“This isn’t a status flex; it’s a vacation on the dance floor. The ravers are the heroes; I’m the guide. Let’s leave the stress behind and live the Life of Leisure together, even if it’s just for a few hours in the club. “ – VonStroke puts it.
Re-launching his entire 2.0 brand with a record release party at the Knockdown Center in New York on April 25th. The Life of Leisure tour kicks off the same day as the upcoming EP “I Am the Wolf” drops. The tour will consist of hand-picked dance floors from some of Claude’s most celebrated venues throughout the years, including CODA in Canada, Space in Miami, and It’ll Do in Dallas.
