Teaming up with UK singer/songwriter Ed Graves, whose credits include work with Hot Since 82, Alok, Noizu, and Julia Church, ‘Vertigo’ showcases a masterful blend of haunting melodies and captivating basslines that have become synonymous with Odd Mob’s signature sound.
Speaking on the creative process behind ‘Vertigo’, Odd Mob shares: “‘Vertigo’ is a combination of both my melodic and club-focused sides, with a large focus on textural elements and unexpected rhythms over a rolling melody and bassline combination. I had Ed’s vocals on my laptop for many years but never really got anywhere with it until I sat down with Dom Dolla for a general chat, and he basically reminded me that we make club music and that I should focus on making it something I would want to play. Hence the new version was born.”
