The event is back where it all began – Cinespace –  to pay homage to the blog house era, and once again bring together the community that helped shape dance music. With nearly a decade since the last party at Cinespace, Dim Mak has grown into a global brand in events, music, and fashion.
On August 24th, Dim Mak will return to their roots to revive the legendary Tuesday party in all its glory, featuring THE BLOODY BEETROOTS (DJ Set), alongside OG acts Bones b2b Bot, Fashen, Dan Oh, and of course special guests.

Label boss Steve Aoki adds; “Dim Mak Tuesdays was the birthplace of my early career and the launchpad for so many artists who are now household names. Those tuesday nights weren’t just about the music; they were about creating a culture, a community that pushed boundaries and embraced the unexpected. It was a blender of indie, electronic, alt hip hop, emo, and more. Bringing the party back as a monthly is a full circle moment for me—it’s a chance to reignite that same energy and share it with the next generation. I’m hyped to see the movement we can create this time around.”

In its heyday, DIM MAK TUESDAYS was at the core of the blog house genre and community with resident DJ’s Steve Aoki, Them Jeans, and Dan Oh, alongside photographer The Cobrasnake documenting the night’s activities. The party also fostered a close knit dance music scene in Los Angeles, and helped launch artist careers including Diplo, Skrillex, Kid Cudi, Anna Lunoe, Dillon Francis, Treasure Fingers, Felix Cartal, Crookers, DJ AM, Justice, Uffie, Etienne De Crecy, MSTRKRFT, and The Bloody Beetroots among others. Celebrities also frequented the parties, including appearances from Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Common, and Will.i.Am.

ABOUT THE COBRASNAKE For more than a decade, Mark Hunter a.k.a. The Cobra Snake has been the definitive photographer of alternative contemporary culture. He was one of the first to recognize the power of social media and jumped into the digital sphere, pulling out his camera and capturing the rise of new media. The Dim Mak and Cobrasnake ties run deep, as he was the photographer for the label’s first events back in the day, as well as many other events during the upstart of the scene in Los Angeles.
