Latin American based producers, singers, and sisters Le Twins and Turkish-Dutch heavyweight Burak Yeter team up for “MOON,” a deep and dark underground Techno record with mystifying vocals over an unrelenting bassline. Out on Dim Mak on July 26, the haunting and alluring single showcases the finest mysterious techno to label listeners, while also continuing to support elite music from Le Twins alongside Burak Yeter.
On the making of the track, Le Twins add; “Moon is a song we created to teletransport you to a trip to space, the lyrics talk about when you meet someone which connection and vibes feels like the “First step on the moon” we have always been obsessed with everything related to space even if it is Astronomy, Astrology, Aerospace engineering etc. till one day we met Burak, an amazing human being/ artist which he told us he was planning to do the first dj set in space along with NASA / Space X so right away we knew this lyrics which we wrote “Moon” was the perfect soundtrack of this space trip
Also this synths, and powerful kicks are a little taste of what Le Twins sound will be like from now on, Moon it’s one of our favorite songs so far we enjoy to play and sing live so enjoy !”
ABOUT BURAK YETER
At the age of 22, Yeter came into recognition by performing at the MTV DanceFloor Chart Party in Malta. That same year, he finished in second place at the Miller Master DJ Competition. Yeter’s debut album, for Action, was released under record label DSM in 2005.The album is his first solo DJ album that was released worldwide. His second album, For Message Volume 2 was released in 2007 as a support for raising awareness of global warming. Burak Yeter is also the CEO of Connection Records.
Yeter’s subsequently signed a contract with Pioneer in 2008, and then opened DJ schools in Amsterdam, Istanbul and Los Angeles called Connection DJ Academy. He has taught over 4000 certified students via the school over the years.
Since 2015, Yeter started a new page in his career with his ‘’New World’’ project; ‘’new song with a new world’’ He released his first single ‘’Happy’’ on Spinnin’ Records, where the track was voted best song of the Talent Pool. His follow-up single for Warner Music Group, ‘’Tuesday’’ turned into an even bigger success than’’Happy’’ reaching #1 on various radio and sales charts in more than 100 countries worldwide. ‘’Tuesday’’ was the 10th most Shazam’d song worldwide in 2017 after becoming a global radio and club phenomena, that continues to this day via recurrent radio airplay worldwide.
After the massive international success of ‘’Tuesday’’ his next single ‘’My Life Is Going On’’ from the well known Netflix series ‘’ La Casa de Papel’’, became his second worldwide success,where it was especially popular in Italy, and also hit the #1 spot in multiple countries.
In 2020 Yeter was voted for DJ Mag’s Top100 DJ List, coming in at #89 in his debut in the list. The same year Yeter released his new hits ‘’Just Miss Love’’ with electronic music legend Benny Benassi, ‘’Teenage Runaway’’, ‘’Body Talks’’ and Fly Away.” In 2023, Yeter was ranked #67 in the most prestigious top 100 DJ list by DJ MAG which was 4 consecutive time since 2020.
Currently Yeter is working on his Space project which will bring him up to 55,000 feet for a live performance. It’s going to be the first ever live performance from the Space that nobody has done before.
