Tennis star Alicia Barnett has battled it out in SW19 for the past two weeks, competing in both the women’s doubles and mixed doubles categories, making it all the way to the quarter-finals in the latter with her partner Marcus Willis. The iconic Anjuna logo is proudly displayed on her gear throughout the tournament, emblematic of a partnership between Barnett and the tastemaking London-based label.

This is the first instance of a dance music label sponsoring a player at SW19, and the relationship is truly organic. Barnett is a fan of Anjuna, and label co-owner James Grant is a lifelong fan of the sport.
“Having been a keen tennis player and frequent grass court queuer for many years, I was super excited that Anjuna was able to support Lissey at this year’s tournament, and the fact she’s a genuine fan of the label makes it even sweeter.” – James Grant
Congratulations to Alicia and her partner on reaching the mixed doubles quarterfinals!
