Hi Jacob and Victor, great to have you join us. What have you been working on lately?

We’ve been spending lots of time in the studio working on new music. Once we get into the mood, we usually create many tracks in a short time of period.

‘You Had Me’ is out now featuring Franky, what has the reaction to the track been like so far?

It’s been a great reaction so far. It’s always a bit nervous before receiving the first reactions but we’re really happy with the responses. We’ve had great feedback from both DJs and radio stations so that feels good!

Where do you look for inspiration when working on new music?

Inspiration always comes from everything and everywhere. It can be meeting new people or seeing new places but also listening to old records that we love.

‘You Had Me’ is a sun-soaked summer house anthem if we do say so! What is it about House music that first drew you to the genre?

Well, we love the groove of house music and both the underground side of it but also the more commercial side, so the blend is important for us. We’ve always been listening to dance and house music when growing up so for us it was natural to create music within that genre.

What advice would you give to anyone who would like to start producing their own music? Any essential tips for in the studio?

Follow your heart and do the music you love. As for studio tips, learn a few tools/synths to start with and try to create something cool you like with these tools. There are so many choices nowadays with synths etc. so keep it simple, that’s important.

Although it looks like fun parties and jet-setting all the time, what are some of the challenges that come with working as DJ/producers in the music industry?

Well, there’s a lot of pressure involved in such a competitive business as the music industry is. There are many hours of work behind every success. For us, it’s important to have a balance in the work because the work never stops really, it’s always some new idea we want to create or something we need to do.

If you could relive any one of your live DJ performances again, which one would it be and why?

Good question, we tend to always look forward to the next gig and are excited for that but if we’re going back, I think it was kind of cool when we performed just before Basement Jaxx at the Ministry Of Sound (The Weekender) event. Especially since we have always been big fans of Basement Jaxx so that was a special moment for sure.

Who would be a dream DJ or artist to collaborate with?

David Guetta or Tiesto would be cool to collaborate with.

What tracks do you have on repeat at the moment?

Diplo, Miguel – Don’t forget my love

Summer is almost here, what are your plans and where can we catch you behind the decks?

Summertime is the best time of the year for us! This summer we have gigs coming up in the UK, Sweden and in Ibiza as well. Keep an eye out on our socials for more info about it. It feels so great to be able to play records again after the pandemic period and especially, to meet the crowd. It’s so amazing! Can’t wait to see you on the dance floor somewhere around the globe soon!
