Following major releases on the likes of Farris Wheel Recordings, This Ain’t Bristol and Dirtybird last year,scene-shaper J. Worra makes her debut on Gorgon City’s Realm Records alongside rising producer Codes. Teaming up on ‘Bounce Back’ with Australian via-Nigeria rapper Sophiegrophy, the trio demonstrate why they’re ones to watch this year. On top of the release, J. Worra has announced her ‘Just Because’ headline tour, spanning 23 dates across the US from May to July. For each date on the run, $2 per ticket and a portion of her own fee will be donated to a local non-profit in everymarket, with J. Worra donating an additional portion of her profit to The Trevor Project for each festival date on the run.
‘Bounce Back’ arrives as a bass-fuelled house anthem featuring Sophiegrophy’s swaggy rap verses over weighty subs. J. Worra and Codes layer on the jamming percussion, transforming the 90s-tinged groove into a dance floor weapon.

J. Worra on what ‘Just Because’ means to her – “This tour is all about giving something back. Merging the worlds of philanthropy and supporting causes that are bigger than ourselves. I have selected a charity for each city we are visiting, with a focus on LGBTQ support, food accessibility, animal rescue/anti-cruelty, suicide prevention and more. For club shows, $2 from every ticket sold along with a portion of my fee will go to the charity selected for that city. For festivals, a donation will be made to The Trevor Project for each festival play between May & July. See you guys on the dance floor!”
