This September 5th-8th, Kansas City will be hosting Dancefestopia – one of the most anticipated festivals this summer.  The experiences promised to attendees are centered around inclusivity, including the community layout of the festival and camping grounds.  Dancefestopia is more than a music festival; It’s a music filled camping adventure under the sun and stars. As a “home of happiness, love and celebration”, Dancefestopia is gearing up for a weekend that will be one to write home about.

This year’s lineup is stacked and full of the MVPs of 2019, with artists including Allison Wonderland, Blunts & Blondes, Liquid Stranger, Champagne Drip and a huge collection of the heavy hitters in the dubstep world.  As you plan out your stages for the weekend, make time for the newer artists on the festival circuit this year too; Walter Wilde, and Haztekk will be some of the evening sets that will be worth checking out, all playing on the Lollipop Stage over the course of the weekend.

The four stages host a variety of artists and workshop-like events like “Down to Earth Yoga” and “Heal Yourself: Energy and Oils” taking place on the Rekinection stage, providing a different type of festival experience for the campers looking for more than just music.  Attendees can also take part in zip lining, hot air balloon rides, and fishing among other fun outdoor activities.

If you are going to Dancefestopia to see the insane lineup, then get there early and post up by the Emerald Stage. On Saturday, catch Blanke’s set at 2:40pm at this stage, immediately followed by ATLiens, Delta Heavy, graves, BadKlaat, Space Laces, Trampa b2b SKisM, Zomboy and RL Grime who will be closing the night on the Emerald Stage.  The Lollipop and Rekinection Stages will be where the party continues, with some sets going until six in the morning. There is no shortage of action, making Dancefestopia one of the most experience-driven festivals in the United States.

If you are one of the lucky ones to attend Dancefestopia this year, checking out their website before you go is a must.  There is a wealth of information that will likely answer the majority of your questions, with maps, pictures and the lineup already posted with set times and music to preview the artists performing.   About two weeks from now the road to Emerald City leads to Kansas City, Kansas, with Dancefestopia as the destination that will create memories and friendships for all.
