Philly lyricist Bok Nero teams up with producer Shizz Lo on Dim Mak single “Hood Anthem.” The booming collaboration exemplifies Nero’s signature #HoodEDM brand, with free-flowing rhymes spit rapidly over explosive bass drops. “Hood Anthem” follows Bok’s Hood EDM mixtape (Mixed by: Shizz Lo), as well as recent appearances on Bear Grillz’s Demons album, Riot Ten’s Hype or Die: Sun City EP, and Max Styler’s Supernatural EP.
Bok Nero and Shizz Lo have taken North America by storm over the past few months, traveling alongside Dim Mak for festival performances at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Montreal’s Bal en Blanc and Miami Music Week. In between heated event performances, they brought a more intimate experience to the clubs via the Hood EDM Tour, which included a blowout performance at Brooklyn Bazaar and a headline date at the NOTO in their hometown of Philadelphia. The dates continue over the “Hood Anthem” release weekend with a special set planned for Baltimore’s Moonrise Festival.
Check them out at Moonrise Festival 2019 tomorrow, August 10th!
