Cheeky wordplay, rumbling bass and classic rave sounds come together on Curbi’s electro house bomb “Flip It.”
The follow up to last year’s Dim Mak release “Whip It,” Curbi shakes things up on his latest work “Flip it.” The single arrives after a jam-packed spring for the UK-based artist. In March, Curbi arrived stateside for several lives performances, including a few gigs as direct support for Oliver Heldens. Shortly after, he made his first ever appearances at Miami Music Week and supported Steve Aoki at Story. The levels were riding high and that same week Tchami dropped Curbi’s single “Redeem” on the Ultra Music Festival mainstage. Most recently, the track received support from Martin Garrix at EDC.
Since signing to Spinnin’ Records at age sixteen, 20-year-old Curbi has become one of the most exciting young artists to watch in dance music. His originals singles (“Shinai,” “51”) and collaborations (“Hoohah” with Fox Stevenson, “Let’s Go” with Lucas & Steve and Mike Williams) have racked up millions of on-demand streams. It’s no wonder that A-list musicians Zedd, Galantis and Steve Aoki have called upon Curbi for official remixes. The success has resulted in increased touring demand, with Curbi performing internationally at some of the largest festivals in the world including Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Creamfields, RFM Somnii and World Club Dome. This summer he continues the global takeover. Fans can catch Curbi live at Open Beatz, Dreamfields and several other festivals across Europe.
