Middlelands came and conquered festival season 2017, easily rising to one of the most magical and sought after experiences in dance music culture… but attendees were crushed when Insomniac was not asked back to the grounds for 2018. While the massive first-year event unfortunately can’t continue in the same venue, due to lack of support from the surrounding community near the The Texas Renaissance Festival Fairgrounds in Todd Mission Texas, there’s still hope. Owner, operator and mastermind behind Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Forest, and now Middlelands, Pasquale Rotella, is scouting new locations for next year’s installment of the medieval-inspired music festival.
