The Launchpad is a biweekly series showcasing hot new music hand selected by our staff. The tracks in these curated playlists come from both underground and mainstream artists that we love. If you’d like to see your music featured in the Launchpad, you can submit it for consideration here.
This week’s Launchpad is a playlist curated with some of our favorite tracks that don’t necessarily fit one genre or category. We’ve compiled a list of tunes that will induce the euphoric vibes of spring break.
Highlights:
Nemesis’ new collaboration with Rizzla & Chillaa, “Bad Gal Like RiRi,” has had huge success over the year, receiving support from OVOSoundRadio, Diplo on BBC 1Xtra, and Kylie Jenner on SnapChat. This dancehall track gives listeners addictive, repetitive Jamaican choruses, bright synth stabs, and punchy percussion.
Rising San Francisco-based producer Anza recently released the bright and catchy future bass track, “Every Time Ft. Darien Fields.” Comprised of a dazzling synth lead, sexy saxophone notes, and sun-shiny atmosphere, this track will be perfect for any listener trying to get in that feel-good vacation mood.
Sydney-based producer Muto has made waves with his recent single “Wildfire ft. Deutsch Duke” premiering on Triple J and also seeing support from Flume and Odesza. This track will grab your soul with its emotional lyrics, stadium-ready synth melodies, and luminous bassline.
