Unlike Pluto‘s “Everything Black” motif comes to fruition again, this time in the form of an infectious new single released via Monstercat. Earlier this year, the Atlanta-born beatmaker announced he’d be setting off on a 23-stop Everything Black North American Tour kicking off at the end of March, and now we have a track by the same name that sets the tone for the upcoming road trip. Pluto’s latest includes contributions from Rostrum Records recruit Mike Taylor, coming together as a sleek, soulful new selection polished with a catchy singalong hook.

Taylor provides eclectic R&B-inspired verses over crisp snaps and a funky bassline, while bold keystrokes lead the track’s building hook, before dropping into a stomping break. Designed for club floors and window-down cruises in the car alike, Unlike Pluto and Mike Taylor pay homage to LA’s all black everything without employing the typical house approach. Proctoring a pop-leaning foot-tapper, Unlike Pluto is ready to set out on tour and he’s brought the theme full circle.
