Boiler Room celebrated the arrival of T2 Trainspotting into theaters in a quintessential fashion by throwing a retro-themed party around the iconic film in Berlin. Centering around the rave scene documented so well by the first series’ first movie in 1996, Boiler Room enlisted the likes of Ellen Allien, Modeselektor, Sasha, and more to dig deep in their crates to pull out the best ’90s-era rave music.

The artists did a flawless job in taking their listeners on an excursion down memory lane – Head High and Goldie commenced the night with a set heavy in retro breakbeat, while Modeselektor and Ellen Allien threw down scintillating sets bursting with rave-era techno and house. Sasha finished things off with a melodic progressive & trance set that induced immediate nostalgia for the “Northern Exposure” days.

The event was too immense to go without being recorded by ardent fans, who’ve now taken to YouTube and other platforms to make each set eternal. Watch an upload we discovered of the event in its entirety above.
