LA-based duo Phantoms have officially announced their self-titled debut album, set to come out this March on Casablanca / Republic Records. The team has circulated the scene over the past two years with standout records, including their “Broken Halo” single and their funked-out cover of Eric Clapton’s “Cocaine.” Now, digging deeper into the crux of their music’s sultry, synth-filled timbre, Phantoms are ready to build an indomitable presence with their newest and biggest release to date.
Alongside the announcement, they’ve also released the first single off their album titled “Pulling Me In.” The track gives a delectable introduction to the artists’ burgeoning sound. Leading in with Kyle Kaplan’s ardent vocals and a pulsating bass-line, the tune comes to life through a rich melding of pertinent percussion, modified vocals, and crafted synth stabs.
