Despite personal dissatisfaction with his latest album W:/2016ALBUM/, deadmau5 has not been discouraged and continues to be very productive. With a new tour looming, the producer has had positive reviews on his nascent BBC residency, began the process to trademark his beloved Meowingtons, and most importantly, announced February 24 as the release date for his upcoming album stuff i used to do.

With that date fast approaching, mau5 has treated fans to a minimix to acclimate them to the new album. Clocking in at nearly six minutes, the mix captures much of deadmau5’s disparate styles — mellow piano driven ballads, midtempo experiments, and, of course, powerful progressive house — into an enticing glimpse into what he has in store on his latest LP.
