Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum producer Matt Lange delivers the first single and title track “Space Between” (feat. Deniz Reno) from his forthcoming EP via deadmau5’s mau5trap.
Lange’s mysterious enigma has always lived in glitchy post modular sounds but “Space Between” sees Matt explore a more accessible sound while keeping the integrity of his music. Deniz Reno compliments Matt Lange’s production offering a beautiful and ethereal pop sensibility that married elegantly with Matt’s blend of synths, machines, and cello.
Releasing on March 13 the Space Between EP explores the sonic aesthetic Matt has been honing in on over the past year, combining outboard and modular synths with acoustic instrumentation and collaborations with two of his favorite singers.
Viewed by his peers as a sound design genius, Lange has created and licensed works for blockbuster films such as Ready Player One, Blade Runner 2049, Deadpool 2, The Fast & Furious 8, and Transformers: The Last Knight. Matt has also scored for massive video game franchises Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, DOTA II, and the multinational technology company, Microsoft.
